Looking for 1-2 people to play on my PS4/PS5 club Friday night. We usually start playing around 10pm eastern time till 3am. We have 3 guys now but need 1-2. My buddies play left wing and left d and I either play center or right d so we’re looking for a right wing and right d. Like I said I’m flexible I can move to d if someone really likes center. Really excited to get another Star Ocean title. I was super disappointed by the fifth installment, Integrity and Faithlessness but it looks like the team has actually had time to finish the game this time. I love the fact that they are going the dual protagonist route, like they did in SO2, one of my favorite games of all time. Being able to play through as Claude and then again as Rena and see everything from her side of the story was really cool.
Definitely a little skeptical given what happened with SO5, but am hopeful the series can return to its former glory as 2, 3 and 4 were really great games.

Top 5 for sure. I was fortunate to pick up both CC and CT's soundtracks on vinyl for really cheap a while ago.
Funny enough, I think its the weaker of the 2 soundtracks... CT is #2 all time for me though.
I forgot how much I F’ing loved Chrono Cross. Gonna play Chrono Trigger after this.

Never played GOW 2018. I am a massive From Software diehard (methodical, timing based combat, story takes a backseat, small or no exposition). Does the GOW reboot have similar beats as From games? Anything else similar to it? I know it's not like the originals that I had dumb fun with back in the day.

Definitely more button mashing and crowd control. Unlike fromsoft games, there is a difficulty setting.
Parrying is a big part of the game, so there is still a good bit of timing related combat, but the difficulty really comes in trying to corral hordes of enemies.
GOW doesn’t do the overly exaggerated pauses in combat that fromsoft does, so the timing is a bit easier to pick up, but super satisfying.
Sekiro is #2 for me, so I’m somewhat familiar with fromsoft games.
God of war on “give me god of war” is every bit as tough, if not more tough than Sekiro.

It wasn’t the best of the series but I just grabbed Arkham Knight for $3.99 on PS5 and I feel like enough time has passed since I first played it to enjoy it pretty well. I am a massive batman fan, mostly comics.

I’ll add that to the list for sure, I’m a huge Kingdom Hearts fan so I’m playing Birth By Sleep right now, and The Simpsons Game which a lot of people seemed to have disliked. I actually preferred it to Hit & Run and Road Rage, maybe because those were from before my time though. The Simpsons Game I was still in elementary school but that was one of my favorite as a kid on PS3.
