kesselring's value was exactly what we all thought it was. what did you think we were going to get? please for the love of god do not say Musty
Big RHD who can skate are usually in high demand. High ankle sprains can take up to a year to heal. He was good in Utah, bad here. I guess I thought he could fetch a 1st round pick with no sweeteners, my bad.

It seem like Adams was proactive in trying to trade Byram last summer. When the return wasn't going to help the team as much as two years of Byram, he decided to sign him instead. Many of us here did not want to sign Byram long term because his play at the time didn't command that.

And how do we know if he sat on his hands with Tuch? We weren't part of the negotiations. We just assume that because Tuch wasn't signed last summer.

If the report is true that Adams position was that Tage was the highest paid forward on the team (which…he isn’t…) and that’s how lowball the offer to Tuch was…it was actually worse than sitting on his hands. Much worse. That was insulting.

Adams left an incredible amount of work undone when things should have been done. He acquired two guys with one year left on their deals (Doan and Kesselring) and extended neither. Benson could have been extended last offseason…he didn’t do that either. He didn’t get Tuch done or reportedly even make a realistic offer. And he kicked the Byram can straight to UFA which is why they’re where they are with him now.

He did manage to give second years he shouldn’t have to several players to make the cap as difficult as possible this year. Greenway, Zucker, Danforth…

If you told me every decision he made last offseason was made because he knew he’d be fired and wanted to leave a mess that was impossible to navigate this offseason…you’d have plenty of evidence.
