Why do you want to give Krebs that contract ?

Teams typically don’t let their RFAs leave, and I am just using the AFP estimates to keep things realistic.

If Jarmo deviates, then things open up a little. But I’m not going to project based on things teams don’t normally do, and contracts which work well for the Sabres.

But I wonder if 20+Levi gets us to 15 where the Blues are. Blues trade Binnington somewhere, don't get a goalie back.....then we move Levi to them so he can tandem with Hofer.......

I've been much more Hockey's Present than Hockey's Future this year...is there someone around 15 you like? Or is it just to have a better trade chip?

I'm working on a theory. Many think that Jarmo is going to go for a splash move on the roster

I have this thought in the back of my head that Jarmo's splash move might be to get as high as possible in the draft. And then use the pick in front of the home crowd.

It's probably nothing. And I don't have a specific target in mind.

there have been rumors Chicago is looking to move 4OA. Stenberg falling to 4 would be a big splash indeed.

If Stenberg falls to 4, Chicago likely races up there to take him rather than move it. Putting Stenberg next to Bedard for years and years just makes too much sense. Yeah, there's no instant bettering of the team -- but it's likely a long-term win.

My thought is that Jarmo is trying to get into the 10-ish range to snag a center like Lawrence or maybe Command.

But again, it's just a thought in the back of my brain. It's not well thought-out. I'm not even sure that I truly believe that's what he's trying to do. But I can't fully shake the thought.

if he were to move up, trading with Seattle at #7 to take Bjorck would be the target i would imagine makes sense

Greenway and a 2027 third for a 2026 2nd

Still seems like a player Chicago could use and they have 16 picks in the first three rounds of the next three drafts.
