Not talking about switching up the teams, just shuffling the seeds so you get more competitive matchups in week 1
There’s a good case to be made. They should be reseeding, but that again doesn’t help. Oregon having to play Ohio State before the semifinal, if not the final, feels like should not have happened.
With NIL, I think we can have a rather deep playoff. It just may take some time to get it fully done. recruits seeing schools like SMU make the playoffs, who can also pay may help.
Yes, we’ve already seen that go on in the SEC.

The “dejected/shocked opposing fan” crowd shots they pan to after someone scores in an SEC/Big 10 game is such an underrated aspect of the football viewing experience. It’s like its own genre of cinematography

can’t believe thus guy Howard couldn’t beat out Adrian Martinez at K state. I guess he’s got some better weapons to work with at OSU

And Martinez didn’t play in a way to make use of them.
Didn’t realize until just now he isnt related to fellow former Nebraska qb Taylor Martinez.

Apropos of nothing, Taylor Martinez’ scramble in the big 10 championship game is still one of the most electrifying college football plays I’ve seen

Well, I feel like not many people saw that coming, but that can happen in football. Ryan Day probably not getting run out of town now.
