Charmin soft hockey players. The 23 or so and under players are a new generation of player.
Well Dahlin is definitely not a soft player, he is one of the few who plays aggressively and with grit, you could see it in the first period. Well, or last season, when he was very physical, this season it is less likely because of his back pain.

Would people consider Cozens for Laf out of NYR? He had a really solid year last year (57 in 82), but has struggled this year. Signed to a very similar deal to Cozens, and is 21. Pure winger, but in the playoffs he has upped his game to another level. In addition, maybe a trade wakes him up a bit to play with that intensity all of the time.

I would think the Rangers would consider trading him, especially since Kakko was dealt earlier this year. They get Cozens who may be able to slot into their Center spine, and the money is even.
Definitely would do that. I don't think the Rangers even entertain the idea however.

There was something about how Tampa would love Tuch in Friedmans 32 thoughts ... I don't think there is any rumor for sure
I think a lot of teams besides Tampa will jump on Tuch and we might have some good offers.

You could definitely get value for Tuch but as much as he frustrates me sometimes I don’t think trading him makes this team better.
Depends on the return. Show me the return and then it can be assessed whether it will make this team better or worse. But here is the question of whether Tuch wants to sign a new contract with Buffalo or not. I understand that he was a Buffalo fan, but he is almost 30 years old and maybe he wants to see the playoffs again and he sees that neither the owner nor the GM cares about it.

Dregs on Sabres Live

Hearing everything on Sabres rumors (all laughed)

Cozens talk has not faded, Cozens may be feeling jaded at this point and mentioned it may not be fair to the player

Talked about Calgary, but who would they give up?

Adams not interested in futures for Cozens

Mentioned a exec asked about Power

Adams open to ideas

Tuch would require a overpay to acquire and require most teams to tear there rosters up

Zegras name is out there (in general). Verbeek willing to listen

Note how you mentioned one player. The age cut off is a bit subjective. It's all skill and flash coming in the league.

What's the deal with Jokiharju? His advanced stats look fine, but it seems as if his minutes are being cutoff?

Instead of asking what the deal is with Jokiharju ... I'd ask what the deal is with advanced stats.

Advanced stats are good for looking at overall teams strengths and weaknesses ... but I don't put much stock in them for telling me about a individual player.

Hard to believe its February and this team has made one move outside the organization and that was just to bring back Reimer.

One could argue they have done zero all year.

Zegras for Cozens is a no for me, only because I think we can do better if we're trading Cozens.

Trading Tuch is a non-starter. It would only make sense if they knew he wouldn't re-sign and I just can't see that being the case. It's hard to see how trading a big, fast, veteran, 2-way, top-line forward who plays in all situations and wants to be here makes the team better. I guess if you could get a legit top pairing RD in his prime, it might make sense, but who is giving that up?

I would try to get Zegras along with Helleson. I understand a lot of people don't like Zegras, but he ticks some boxes in terms of need, playmaker, better at center (Ducks fans). Overall he's a wild card, as are most other non-NMC/NTC centers outside of EP40. You could try to get someone like Hayton from Utah, also a wild card but a different type of player.

Age has nothing to do with it, Benson is 19 and he has it. Dahlin has it, some of our other players have it, but many don't and they don't want to get dirty. Of course we lack vets, but it can also depend on the player and it doesn't matter what age.

"Cozens talk has not faded, Cozens may be feeling jaded at this point and mentioned it may not be fair to the player"

Who has three straight days to listen to me rant about this sentence?

Maybe the 50 million dollars he got to immediately sink every f***ing line he's on for 2 years will make him feel better.

I think it is more of the "typical" hockey player is getting less grit, more skill, weaker mentally, more entitled etc. That is not to say it is all of them.
