With that said, there are many players in the nhl. They can’t all have an excuse not to be here

Isn't he an RFA? Why would he sit out and waste potentially millions of dollars? Whoop whoop Kelly said he wouldn't play for the Bills I'm sure he would have settled eventually.

He was. And I’m sure he’d have signed eventually. Even if he held out for the entire season he’d have to sign for a year to get to UFA status. Regardless, Adams would have been roasted if that happened.

McLeod is a good 3C but doesn't seem like a top 6 player. I liked Krebs best as a 4C. As they said, Necas didn't seem to be planning on signing an extension, but there are always other options.

Mostly agreed with both your points. I say mostly because I think McLeod can be an adequate injury fill-in in the top 6 if needed, for a few games. He was effective for a couple games filling in for Tage before that effectiveness went away.

Mostly agreed with both your points. I say mostly because I think McLeod can be an adequate injury fill-in in the top 6 if needed, for a few games. He was effective for a couple games filling in for Tage before that effectiveness went away.

Well, in some cases, of course, Zucker and McLeod can play there, but I liked our third line with Zucker and McLeod more.

He's had his good games and his bad games. Pretty much in-line with what one could/should expect out of a 6/7/8 guy.

Well, when he first started playing this season, he even looked decent in the top 4 with Power, but then it seemed to get worse.

Whatever you do don't look at his advanced stats. Playing his best hockey doesn't get him a sniff at the NHL on other rosters.

Same. I think he is okay in short stints but he's been getting ragged.

Him and Clifton were terrible with the puck yesterday (from what I watched) Byram, Dahlin, and Power is a hell of a core to build around, but the rest of the defense leaves so much to be desired.
