Well, Jokiharju has already settled in there, he keeps coming back.
Freddy Krueger does that too
Well Idk, we may have different options.

Peterka - Thompson - Tuch
Benson - ROR - Cozens
Zucker - McLeod - Quinn
Malenstyn - Krebs - Greenway

or something else
I donr want ROR if he was on a $m contract. Not taking that contract.
CBJ and BUF are poor trading partners. CBJ doesn’t need what BUF has imo. Especially if it’s restricted to pure futures.

Maybe they’d bite on Helenius - Jiricek
No way am I trading Helenius nor Wahlberg.

I send them Johnson and Rosen and they include something in pick/ prospect

I do not see why we'd trade for Jiricek. Like at all. Do we need a RHD? Yes, RIGHT NOW. We do not need a guy that might take another year or two before he becomes an NHL regular. We've got Komarov and Strbak and McCarthy who are on similar timelines to Jiricek (maybe a year behind) and Kleber coming about a year or two behind them. And if Adams would do the right thing and sign Metsa....he's a guy that could theoretically be a 6/7 guy for us next year.

Our future at RHD is pretty bright, especially as it regards defensively-responsible/physical guys.

We need a top 4 RHD right now. Like yesterday. Or the day before. Jiricek doesn't move that needle at all.....

I like our as it sits right now. If we can improve it via trade, of course you do it. We do have an abundance of good forward prospects that potentially won’t see a call up for a while.

I would offer Rosen and a draft pick. Jiricek would potentially fill an organizational need at RD in the future.
Our organizational need at RHD in the future is pretty damned low. Between Komarov, Strbak, McCarthy and Kleber (and Brunet and hopefully Metsa)....ONE of them is likely to hit.

Our organizational need at RHD is RIGHT NOW (and next year and maybe the year after).

A somewhat forgotten positive from Buffalo stacking points is it may make them a more attractive place to play. Perhaps the pool of players willing to waive their NMCs to play in Buffalo will grow. It'll take more than a decent 20 games to grab players attention. If theyre still in a WC spot at the 40 game mark...who knows? Players may view them as a young team on the rise.

Ruff brings some more credibility to the team atleast.

To an extent yes. Our right D consists of Byram, Joker, Clifton and Samuelsson … 2 are left handed shots. But eventually between Dahlin, Power, Byram and Samuelsson we are going to have a lot of salary tied up in 4 defensemen. So trading a forward prospect from an area of strength for a RD prospect (pick 6, 2022) rumored to be on the trade block gives us a cost controlled asset in an area of need.

Would like to make a trade Quinn for Crouse but not ready to give up on Quinn. Would love to have Crouse and make us tougher to play against.

I don't see a good match with Utah other than Quinn
