Add another prospect I wouldn't be surprised get invited to be around Abbotsford as a black ace to finish the season.
Alriksson has been injured since mid February.will be interested to see if VA gets some ice time with Abby. Has Alcos shown any signs of life?
Edit - Only 18 so he can't go to Abby for a couple of years. VA is 20 so no problem.
Barrie wins game one 6-2Romani with an assist , and Patterson 1 goal and 1 assist as The Colts are up 4-2 on Kingston in game 1
I loved your Lockhart of the Rings journeyBarrie wins 7-4,
Its been a long time since I can say I was confident in a prospect drafted in a very very later rounds .Romani is giving me hope he can be a goal scoring threat at the next level as he now has 9 goals in 7 games and is playing like we are expecting him too , and that’s putting the puck in the back of the net . Was worth taking a flyer on . Still a long shot prospect but he definitely deserves a spot in Abby next year in the top 9 and let’s see what he can do .
It’s good to see Patterson finally putting in good effort and getting on the score sheet but I will reserve judgement on him until after his age 19 season as he is playing on a loaded Barrie team and has been inconsistent all season long and his production is either really good or really bad .
Regardless it is fun to follow some Canucks prospects as we enter the Spring season here in Vancouver with a chance to play in the Memorial Cup, But sadly I still think it will be the London Knights who will win it all , but you never know as 2 years ago ,
We saw my old buddy Conor Lockhart and his Petes upset the Knights so fingers crossed the Colts can go that far
Pretty hard to be a Canucks fan , look at how they are winning now when they should be trying to get a better draft pick .I loved your Lockhart of the Rings journey
Romanis turn
The difference in the spots 12-20 wouldn't make much of a difference if they won all the games or lost them all, they will get a similar potential prospect. Now Kashawn Aitcheson would be pretty sexy addition to our backend were building. I cant see any of the centers in that range changing my mind on him.Pretty hard to be a Canucks fan , look at how they are winning now when they should be trying to get a better draft pick .
This team truly can’t do anything right ever ,
And until now we haven’t had many prospects to root for at all , Lockhart was always a long shot but it was fun to watch him , hoping Romani can potentially make it,
It’s a long shot , but he has a much better shot at any sort of Pro Career
