Upside for Sanin Pellikka is Gustav Forsling; downside is Adam Bovquist. People underestimate how hard it is to play in the NHL as a somewhat undersized d-man. You've got to be an exceptional talented with high-end skating ability to pull it off. And those kind of guys usually go top-10 in the draft, not in back half of the first round.

He could make it big with the Wings. But give me 'size' most of the time. So at this point, D-Petey at 6'4" and 215; and Wilander at 6'2" and 190; represent better bets imo.

You would have to be an absolute fool to take D-Petey over Sandin-Pelikka right now. No hockey person in their right mind is making this trade.

ASP and Forsling are two very different type of players.

Who said anything about a 'trade'? Sandin-Pelikka, Wilander and D-Petey all suited up for Sweden's Silver Medal team at last year's World Junior Hockey Championships.

All I pointed out is that when it comes to the NHL, 'size matters'. And both Wilander and D-Petey are a lot bigger.

It was sounding a lot like you were saying you would rather have Petterson than Sandin-Pelikka as a prospect. Thus the I think no reasonable hockey person would ever do a trade like that comment.

As I've said a few times here I'm one of the biggest EP2 supporters on the is board, but Detroit wouldn't take two EP2s for one ASP. They aren't even close as prospects.

Wrong again, MS. They're right next to each other.

Romani and Patterson both in action tonight for there respective OHL teams . Let’s hope Patterson has a good game and gets his first point of the season.

the fact he's getting regular 3rd line minutes 2 games in a row is a positive sign
however, his ice time probably reflects more on how much pp2 he's getting, and his team takes penalties, albeit I doubt he's killing penalties, so
