Oh man, somehow I thought he was a RD, yeah we got way too many LD in the system, need some RD depth after WillanderBains from Lekkerimaki

Refreshing to have an actual strength on a position for once. This is a good group of defenseman prospects. I think the expectation to have to be that at least two of them become NHL regulars. But I would not be surprised if 4 of them become NHL regulars.Oh man, somehow I thought he was a RD, yeah we got way too many LD in the system, need some RD depth after Willander
Willander should be a top 4 guy, dEP 3rd pairing and KK a 6/7 guy.Refreshing to have an actual strength on a position for once. This is a good group of defenseman prospects. I think the expectation to have to be that at least two of them become NHL regulars.
I think that should be the expectation. Maybe KK and EPD switch spots. But it wouldn't surprise me if a few of the prospects take further jumps.Willander should be a top 4 guy, dEP 3rd pairing and KK a 6/7 guy.

Yeah the way how KK and dEP are adapting to the A is super promising.I think that should be the expectation. Maybe KK and EPD switch spots. But it wouldn't surprise me if a few of the prospects take further jumps.
Man McWard is like a 7 guy at best, kinda sad how shallow our RD pipeline isWillander
McWard
Celebrini
Alcos
It's a bit lacking for sure.

From Tocchet's perspective, he may not have the size to play in the top 4 (yeah, he's about the same size as Hronek, but still ...).kudryavtsev is a top 4 or bust guy. he doesn't have the size or pk util to stick on the third pair
i think he'll make it tho
Man that’s a high bar, top4 or bust. I am hoping at the very least he can carve out like a Brannstrom type of role.kudryavtsev is a top 4 or bust guy. he doesn't have the size or pk util to stick on the third pair

Don’t think he has enough value to be moved in the deadlineFrom Tocchet's perspective, he may not have the size to play in the top 4 (yeah, he's about the same size as Hronek, but still ...).
I think he'll be part of the package moved before the deadline.
They use him on the PK in Abby and he does okay. I don't see why he wouldn't have a chance to become a third-pair guy.kudryavtsev is a top 4 or bust guy. he doesn't have the size or pk util to stick on the third pair

Yeah I think KK will end up spending more time in the A and he’ll get a chance to be on PK1They use him on the PK in Abby and he does okay. I don't see why he wouldn't have a chance to become a third-pair guy.
He doesn't have to have much value—just enough to be part of a deal. Josh Bloom, Jonathan Myrenberg, etc.Man that’s a high bar, top4 or bust. I am hoping at the very least he can carve out like a Brannstrom type of role.

I don’t think we are as desperate to make those small deals anymore. He doesn't have to have much value—just enough to be part of a deal. Josh Bloom, Jonathan Myrenberg, etc.
I think he'll be a low-value item in a bigger deal. Some other team will value him more than the Canucks do. Especially if he climbs a bit higher in points for rookie defensemen (currently 7th).I don’t think we are as desperate to make those small deals anymore.
He doesn't have the size (he doesn't look small out on the ice at all) but he's very much a two-way guy.kudryavtsev is a top 4 or bust guy. he doesn't have the size or pk util to stick on the third pair

I don't ever believe those heights that they list players at anymore haha.He doesn't have the size (he doesn't look small out on the ice at all) but he's very much a two-way guy.
I am actually surprised that they listed Kudryavstev as 5'11" he doesn't look undersized at all.
Ncaa doesn't normally play Sunday's. More Friday Saturday games.Patterson, Alriksson, (both underway) Mynio, and Alcos are in action this afternoon.
What's happening today with the NCAA guys?
I think Willander might be good enough to play up on the real Canuck team.I hope so, I really want to see him in the AHL and see if he can take that step up. They need to move out some LHD in Abbotsford though.
It would be great to see something like this by the end of the season:
Krudryavstev - McWard
Pettersson - Willander
Dorrington - Woo
Mynio
Silovs
Young
