we should have just traded down, with both of these picks, we could have picked our 9th at 17 and we could have picked our 17th at 25 or 26.

This is grotesque. A wee tiny defenseman that will never make an NHL roster when the fastest guy in the draft, who happens to play a position of need, is still on the board. WHAT THE ACTUAL F*CK IS GOING ON HERE.

I dont neccissarily disagre with regards to Danielson (though I dont HATE the pick), but ASP was not going to be there in 2 picks

Amazing how many pro scouts already know we bombed both picks. For anyone complaining we can score.. none of these kids are scoring soon. Goal scoring for the next few years is not a draft issue, almost like you need a long term plan and vision for a few years down the road..

Lmao. Zero chance ASP would be on the board at 25-26. It's actually shocking that he didn't go top 15, or even top 10 (he's a better prospect than Simishev).

This is a good point. None of the "goalscorers" left at 9 (other than Wood maybe) are contributing before 2025.

Wow, a lot of negativity from the guys that are living off the rankings from Yahoo, lol. These are two stud picks! Interested to see all of you on the board in 2 years.

at the very least this is a more conventional pick. Looks like most everyone had ASP ranked 17th or better

This is a good point. None of the "goalscorers" left at 9 are contributing before 2025. In particular, Perreault and Cristall. Still what have prefered ZB over ND
