FYI, Tampa fans. Cole is now the 4th highest active defensemen in plus minus with Keith retiring. Might have been a stretch of 15-20 games last year when no goals were scored while he was on the ice. During his second cup run with the Pens he led all d men in TOI during the regular season. Always underrated.

I assume because you just don't know if you can deal him 1 year from now. Maybe the markets different, maybe McDonagh gets hurt, maybe he has a bad season..

Besides goal scoring, our biggest issue was Defense / Team Defense. Hedman hasn't looked right since the injury in 2021. With McDonagh gone Hedman gets the #1 matchups.

If tampa wants to go far it all rests on him getting back to Peak Hedman. If not.....welp....
