“He was fast and so hard to defend against out there. I admired the way he kept everyone on their toes. He was simply outstanding.”

Jonathan Huberdeau, LW.

In this era, Jonathan Huberdeau is considered one of the best left-wingers of his generation.

Also just remembered he's a former teammate of Jagr's, so.....hey, that works too! Chemistry!

@Dr Pepper Have a great weekend!

Smooth-skating Paul Coffey embodied everything an offensive defenseman could be -- lightning fast, a skilled playmaker, a booming shot and savvy, yet still able to defend his team's zone employing blinding speed.

@Dr Pepper I like his all-around offensive game.

“Teemu gets a lot of respect for his goal-scoring ability, but the thing I noticed right away was what a great passer and playmaker he was and how unselfish he was.”

Going to keep my "current LWer" trend going, I expect this kid will only continue to get better....as long as the rest of his team does as well!

Brady Tkachuk, LW.

I figure he'd slot in nicely on Bobby Clarke's wing, too.

@Dr Pepper Trottier needs some company on my checking line so...

“We've got some outstanding people, eh? All-Stars, right? But Kurri is by far our most complete player.”

Closing out my starting lineup and 4th line with a player the Capitals sure could've used last night - and also because I think it'd be a riot slotting him in alongside Peter Forsberg.

Took a huge step this season, even though his season just came to a close last night....wherever he ends up next season I'm sure he'll continue to get better.

Filip Forsberg, LW

@Dr Pepper I'm closing out my Trottier/Kurri checking line with a guy who can play a little D... (Like Filip his dad played a little hockey)

One of the most versatile players in history, Howe was a scoring sensation early in his career and regarded as one of the best two-way defenders ever toward the end.

I was mulling over who to slot in on that third pairing, and I realized I didn't really have that one big guy who could steamroll a player through the boards, keeping opponents on the lookout.

Now I do!

@Dr Pepper Perhaps the best ever.

“He's going to go out as the greatest goaltender, if not one of the greatest goaltenders ever without question. I don't think that's disputable.”

@Dr Pepper For my spare and 5th center I'll take a guy who better have a big game 6 especially if my #1C Crosby is unable to play.

  • "I want to score 50 goals. It's my dream". He scored 50 in the 2011-12 season.

@Dr Pepper Thanks for playing. I'll take the Head Coach of the first expansion champions, the 1968 Habs, William Scott ... The Canadiens won at least 45 games in each of Bowman's eight seasons at the helm, and they won the Stanley Cup five times.
