Ugly end to the game. Mississippi State should be sanctioned for sure, as they seemed to be the aggressors and they literally shouldn't have been there at all in a regular season. I love Mike Leach but my respect for him definitely dropped after this. Control your players. This goes for both coaches. Unreal how neither were anywhere to be seen for the most part.

It sucks because when undefeated G5 schools lose to the P5 teams that couldn't even win their own division in their conference makes them even more of an afterthought now. Even if Notre Dame gets blown out again. There are going to be blowouts regardless so I still would love to see them expand to a 8-16 playoff just for the opportunity of a cinderella run like in the basketball tourney.

Amazing how these coaches can be paid millions but the majority of them are inept at the most basic thing, managing the clock.

Luke Fickell - Not ensuring that the QB snaps the ball with 1-2 seconds left on the play clock (twice he snapped it with ~10 seconds left) and then calling a pass on a 3rd and 2 when the defense has no timeouts. Completely gifted UGA a full minute at the end there.

Kirby Smart - Calling a timeout with 2 minutes left ... to punt.

Still not getting ND making the playoffs over an m. After they got shelled by Clemson it pretty much proved they didn't improve as the season went on.

A&M would have gotten blown out too but it would be someone new, we've seen ND in the playoffs before and IIRC Clemson destroyed them, just like they did in the ACCCG.

I find that a pretty bs targeting call. The guy is leading with his shoulder but fields moved towards the helmet.

I’m not an expert on it and don’t follow college football much. The guy (not the color analyst) commented that he lowered the helmet so the crown was hitting Fields which is targeting. One angle looked like shoulder, the other looked like helmet to me so I can see both sides of it.

I don’t like that ball carriers can lower their heads and hit a guy square with their crown, no issues.
