Specifically goaltending and defense

Tough pill to swallow but good on the leafs for fighting back to force game 7. We know who we need to move on from. We have big decisions to make. Still proud to be a Maple Leafs fan despite not getting the result we wanted. We gotta come back better next year.

Andersieve. I really wanted McBackup to split playing time in the playoffs with Andersen. If he did maybe we would have won at least game 1 or 2 and 7. Andersen overated asf just like Riemer. Idc how many good saves he makes but he lefts in trash to kill momentum or when having to hold leads.

Frustrating to lose this after clawing back in the series. Especially with Gardiner being -4 (last i saw) ast two key players having poor series in Matthews and Andersen.

Wonder if they'll be ready to move on from Freddy in the summer.

I think we can all cut matthews some slack for being a rookie that was going to be zero'd in right from the get go.

I'm glad JVR and Bozak are UFAs they can get off my team. It was their chance to play for a contract and they didn't perform.

Wish we would have traded JVR.

I think we should have gotten mcdonough but I understand having a long term view, now is the time to see that in the offseason. Dump Gardiner for something and upgrade the defense. Gardiners style is a dumpster fire.

Andersen is not a goalie you can win with. Leafs will be back stronger next year, and you have to give them credit for bringing this series to 7

We did great even forcing a game 7 after that atrocious start to the series. But that doesn't mean that we had a good series.
