The Jets played horribly for like 9 minutes of this game. The Jets also got very lucky on that non-icing call. But the Jets deserved to win this, on a back-to-back. Good stuff.

I think it was because Subban attempted to play the puck (he left the crease), so they waved it off.

Watching Vegas postgame (since for some reason Canadian feeds always cut off like 30 sec after game ends). They felt it should have been icing, you have to call icing by where players are by hash marks... but you can’t call icing before the puck crosses the line. And by the time it did, Vegas player was falling down.

Edit: that’s not really how it happened but that’s their patchwork explanation.

I thought we had a very strong 3rd period our forechecking was great. Scheifele finally woke up.
