Alright JR, lot of holes to fix here. Where you going to start sir?

Probably start by adding Semin and Sekera, then trade someone decent for a below average PP QB enraging everyone here who thinks you can just add players while giving up nothing of value.

The geniuses in the FB group are actually blaming the refs for this loss. The second Canucks goal was legal, and the Canes had a 6-3 power play advantage. Are those people serious?

I'm starting to think we are mismanaging this Lindholm kid. I said all along he should be back in Sweden maturing (and not burning a year of his ELC). It's not like his presence is the difference on us making a run at the Cup. Shame on JR for thinking so and rushing him into this league before he is ready, especially physically.

Our PP blows chunks.

The difference between the Vancouver Canucks' power play and ours was night and days. The reason being, they actually play it like a PP. We play it like ES.

When we enter the zone, the first thing E. Staal, or Gerbe, or Skinner do is:

--Try to skate it into traffic themselves, or;
--Pass to the nearest player.

In other words, they play it like even strength. They don't try to slow it down and find the open man. Once you find the open man, you can start to play keep away. Move the puck around, get some shooting lanes or good scoring opportunities. Semin actually tries to do this on the PP, which makes him one out of....?

Instead, they pass to someone who is covered or they dump it in, or they skate it themselves into a bunch of people. That works at ES because its a percentages game; it won't work 75% of the time, but you can try it again and again as the game goes on.

But on the PP? Since the other team can ice the puck, its not going to work. We aren't actually taking advantage of the numbers disparity that a PP presents us.

Gerbe is good bargain but c'mon he's not an top 6 forward. He should provide some offense from third line if they choose to use the line as a offensive one.

While i really like Dwyer as an energy and boost guy, he's hardly a top 9 forward. I really like JStaal- Dwyer combo, that's a pretty excellent shutdown machine but Dwyer must play with Malhotra on 4th line.

Lindholm and Murphy, at least for some time, should be sent at the moment to AHL. At least for three or four weeks.

Tlusty is not the problem, he's good finisher but looks like than one year wonder than anything else. At least, he's good checking winger.

I'm not sure what exactly Drayson Bowman brings to the ice. He's terrible. Waste of the roster space. He's not even good to PK.

Mike Komisarek, as expected, is the worst #7 D in the entire league. And he plays three minutes more than Hainsey on PP.

Can't wait for the moment that we say goodbye to Gleason, Ruutu, Harrison, Westgarth, Bowman... and Muller. I'm not sure that players wants to play for him anymore.

Getting rid of Muller is a fool's decision for the reason you stated. If the players have quit on him, that'll be the third coach in under a decade that this core group of players has quit on.

At some point, you've got to tell that group "Nut up. This is your coach. We're sticking with him. Deal with him or we'll find someone who will".
