You guys are too much. He was out there playing through injury. Not the time to show your hate.
No he’s selfish. He absolutely told Gallant he could play and then he goes out there, can’t skate for two periods and then is out for the 3rd.

They were down a forward from the start of the game because of his selfishness, he gets no sympathy from me

God, some of the anti-Strome sentiment on a team that just went to the ECF is f***ing gross.

F*** this shitty thread.

I don't want the guy re-signed, and I really would be pissed if we kept him, but show some f***ing class. The guy played his ass off, here, and really showed a lot of heart. His teammates loved and respected him.

You're right. I reconsider my stance on letting him back on the flight home. He's a good dude honestly....just not a guy we need going forward.

Players literally ALWAYS say that. It's on the coach.

Strome would've played if he had his leg cut off the game before. He'd tell the coach he's good to go. That's just what a professional athlete does.

I fully blame Gallant for allowing Strome on the ice tonight. That's on him. He put the team down a man by playing him. Horrendous, horrendous coaching decision.

Literally all that needs to be said, IMO.
