He's a really smart player with immense hockey sense and very good puck skills. That usually bodes well for an NHL player.

If he put on some muscle, he'd be a force to be reckoned with. Much of what is said about TTs game now was said about Kaner when he first came into the league. It only took one off-season of weight training for Kaner to grow into a respectable NHL frame.

The looming question about TT is whether or not he can become mentally tough enough to stop shying away from contact. If he makes that adjustment without a frame to support it, he'll be injured all the time. He doesn't always keep his head up like he should. If he puts on an NHL frame and doesn't make the mental adjustment, well, he's the same player he is now.

Don't give up on him yet Carolina. He's a great player with a few glaring problems. Get rid of those problems, and you've got Patty Kane-lite.

Teuvo seems like a player who should have stayed in Europe for a few seasons.
There's alot of work to be done with his overall game and since the amazing display in the WJC he really hasn't shown that elite playmaking either.
He also seems to be one of those skinny guys, who just can't put up any muscle. Still looks like a 14 years old.

After how he played in the playoffs last couple of years it didn't seem like much of a loss for the Hawks to me

How is Bickell working out for Carolina?

Up until the news today. He was very effective on the power play for us. He provided a net front presence that we literally haven't had like ever. Our power play was looking pretty good with him. Other than that he is a decent fourth liner but that seems about it.
