Magnus Pääjärvi, Ottawa are you kidding
Hey dude, that was a test match vs. Team Denmark in Rungsted this evening. I've been there and saw Lias Anderson playing for the first time, and wow, is he a mature player already! He'll be fun to watch in Copenhagen.
A natural leader who sees the ice well, creates a lot of chances, and at the same time has a sound defensive game. That wrap-around try was brilliant, and it wasn't the only good offensive scene he had.
In the second period he also had a little hustle with Denmark's top goal getter Nicklas Jensen who scored the only Danish goal with a blistering slap shot in the third period.
Sweden's B team dominated the game over long stretches against the Danes, which played with only 8-9 players who'll make the final roster. Only the Jokerit quartet, and Nicholas B. Jensen were in acceptable WHC form, while some of the defenders and most players from the Danish domestic league filling the other roster spots weren't up to the task. They clearly need their reinforcements - F.Nielsen, M.Christensen, F.Storm, N.Hardt, J.'Z' Jensen, P.Bjørkstrand, P.Larsen, M.Lauridsen and of course as many NHL guys as possible.
There is literally no legitimate reason not to ask Lehner.
Swedish hockey federation has not liked lehner since his trump support. So f***ing stupid. Lets punish lehner for free speech. There is literally no legitimate reason not to ask Lehner.
Thanks sir. Is there a schedule anywhere for these exhibition games?

I have a bigger problem that we have let a NHL 4th liner play 2 straight best of the best tournaments. But in WHC we can not take anyone we want from NHL so it is different in whc, so there i am more ok with having medicore NHL players in the lineup, unless they are cutting star players to make room for them. Pääjärvi has been pretty good in ottawa and is probably better than AJF right now that many seems to want.
What we need from NHL is a elite winger like rakell, forsberg and one of Backstrom or W Karlsson, then it looks pretty good, but espically a elite winger.
The D seems to look really good even this time for being whc. Klingberg and OEL shall get credit for being loyal star players.
b-team? more like H-team.
I know he likes Trump his political beliefs shouldn’t impact his possibilities to represent his national team.political. lehner likes trump.
If you watched the first denmark game, how did Olle Liss look? I liked his game the few minutes I saw of the first Slovakia game.Well yeah... I'm not going to run them down, as seems to be a bit of a custom here in the forum. Keeping in mind who is ready & available to play for Team Sweden at the WHC.
