Any chance Pettersson plays C on the 4th line as he did earlier in the tourney when Larsson was injured? He looked pretty solid there for the few shifts and it kept him away from the boards.

I honestly doubt it, but Grönborg surprised me with giving him a chance, so who knows. Maybe he'll get a chance against the Slovaks or Swiss depending on if he gets healthy in time.

Hornqvist is a great utility player, he excels at whatever he gets to do. He will get #1 pp time, playing with skilled players in even strength. I highly doubt he is going to break up the first line though. You dont fix what is not broken. If he's in the tournament from the start, yeah I think he would be put on the the line with Rakell and Zib.

Probably about half of the Swedish forwards on this team can play center. We could go Rakell-Zibanejad-Backlund-Janmark/Kempe as 1-2-3-4 C if we wanted.

But Bäckström might be the last center of his kind. The positions are more interchangeable these days with the way everybody skates.

lol but think about it. he will not beat out janmark. he will not beat out arvidsson. and if elias pettersson have MONSTER games against slovaks and swiss he will not beat out elias either. so the 4th line it is, and he will fit good on it with his playing style anyways. this MIGHT happen .
