Disaster. This isn’t our A team.
Sounds fantastic. Please post our A-team.
Disaster. This isn’t our A team.
Salomonsson - Hävelid
Lindstein - ASP
Pettersson - Norén
Never understood the Odelius hype. He has never bern good when I've watched a game he played in. At best mediocre, at worst a detriment.Hot take: No Odelius? Personally im not that high on Norén but he will probably be on the team.
Wahlberg playing great for Malmö...he should be one of the 12 forwards.Something like this sounds good... Right now:
Carlsson - Bystedt - Pettersson
Öhgren - Östlund - Lekkerimäki
Stenberg - Edstrom - Suzdalev
Wagner - Born - Nordh/Wahlberg
Salomonsson - Hävelid
Lindstein - ASP
Pettersson - Norén
Hellnemo
Hävelid
Yes its looking really good, however there is a risk that both Carlsson and Bystedt are in the NHL when this tournament takes place.Lekkerimäki have woken up. 7 points 9 playoffs games. Good news for this team.
3 other good things is Bystedt and Leo Carlsson getting experiance with Tre Kronor and Suzdalev is in AHL right now.
Carlsson I think there is chance he is an NHL regular next year, but I think Bystedt probably needs on more year of seasoning in the SHL or AHL. So Bystedt will probably be availableYes its looking really good, however there is a risk that both Carlsson and Bystedt are in the NHL when this tournament takes place.
Carlsson is one of those prospects Sweden has one or two of in a twenty year period.
and the great start at the U18 as tip of the iceberg...We have good depth too. 4/4 wins in the last U20 tournament.
Lindstein exceeded my expectations I already knew ASP was gonna dominate this considering the WJC. Unsure wether Carlsson is gonna play though he’s just as likely to score 60ish points in the NHL next season. Though Carlsson has a non minor speech impediment. However I don’t know how this has affected his english.and the great start at the U18 as tip of the iceberg...
Update:

Lindstein did great against Malmö in kvalserien. He resigned with Brynäs and will get a big role in Allsvenskan.Lindstein exceeded my expectations I already knew ASP was gonna dominate this considering the WJC. But in case it has affected his english in a negative manner he might feel more comfortable in Sweden.
I know but that’s exactly my point it might be beneficial for him to stay another year in Sweden because of it.Lindstein did great against Malmö in kvalserien. He resigned with Brynäs and will get a big role in Allsvenskan.
Regarding Leo Carlsson, i think he stutters, and thats all. I think in most cases it goes away the older you get.
Its more likely Garpenlöv will bury them on a 4th line than a competent coach.DIF wont go up to SHL. I really hope Öhgren, Östlund, Lekkerimäki and Odelius stays with DIF and gets lots of icetime and dominates in Allsvenskan. In SHL they will probaly be buried on 4th line.
Of course the forwards won't stay if they don't get promoted. Heck, there's a chance some of them won't stay in Sweden.DIF wont go up to SHL.
