No, but be thankful that these millionaires show up to play. If they didn't, you'd be stuck watching SHL players on the national team. Sure you'd love that.

I'd rather see top players from the SHL than Eriksson or Krüger, that's for sure. It's all too predictable. They'll be two blackholes offensively. Eriksson was awful in World Cup 2016. Doesn't look any better today.

Jacob Josefsson is a top player in the SHL. Says it all really.

Nice horse you've got there.

Jesus christ...

I'm supposed to get down on my knees and worship millionaires like Krüger and Eriksson?
Oh my God they’re millionaires! They must be terrible people.

Again, that they are past their primes or usefulness is inconsequential. When Loui was a major part of the WC gold team of 2013 he could have chosen to stay home with his family and friends. There's no obligation to play for the NT. But he still did. Him and many others. Show some respect for the players that actually did and still do show up. They didn't have to.

So now the SHL is terrible because Jacob Josefsson did reasonably well in it this season? He has 6 assists in 13 playoff games by the way.

Lineup against Finland:

Wedin - Lander - Bratt
Boqvist - Rasmussen - Sandin
Zaar - Lundeström - Nygård
Bromé - Fröberg - Bristedt
Sylvegård

Holm - Bengtsson
Andersson - Svedberg
Sellgren - Arnesson
Djuse

Enroth
Same lineup today, but with a Sylvegård-Bristedt swap.

6 nos 2 yeses one maybe so far from the round one players.

I listened to Bäckströms exit Interview. He said he hadn’t talked to the coaches yet, and he needed to pass his medical first. Said he was a little banged up, but added on a follow-up question ”but I think we’re all a little banged up towards the end of the season”

We need atleast one more top6 forward.

If bäckis didnt want to come he would probably announced that now. So it is promesing what he said.

There isn't too many big additions remaining to be added to the team. I'm thinking Grönborg should give Victor Olofsson a call. Also, I normally wouldn't consider it but I could also see Alex Nylander be given a chance here if guys like Bäckström and Järnkrok says no. If nothing else it would've been fun to give more young guys the opportunity. I could see Alex Nylander and Bratt on a line since they've had chemistry before and know each other well. I think it could also spice up a second PP. But I think it's a very low chance of it happening and I can't say I'm sure adding Alex would really make the team stronger.

Lines could look something like this (assuming William Nylander comes):
Hörnqvist - Pettersson - Lindholm
Lindblom - W Nylander - Olofsson
Bratt - Krüger - A Nylander
Eriksson - A Kempe - M Kempe

I have no idea how Aftonbladet got: ”Jag är mörbultad” from Bäckströms ”I’m a little banged up”

EDIT: looked up the synonyms of ”Mörbultad” and found ”Öm” (sore) as the closest word to it so I guess ”Mörbultad” is just one of those words that sound way worse than they actually are.

I don’t know why everybody keeps sleeping on Bratt, right now he is a way better player than Lindblom and Olofsson and we do not have enough talent there to try and split the scoring up so why so few people have him in the top 6 baffles me.
