Call me crazy, but I think for the first time in about 20 years team Russia has a pretty solid goaltending tandem. The last 2 gold medals Russia had to win with pretty much an empty net, and as a Russia fan, I'm extremely happy to finally have some confidence in my team's goaltending.
Khudobin and Kuznetsov were excellent at the ADT challenge (or at least in the games that I saw) and Khudobin went on and got a shutout or two in the SuperLeague.
Radulov on the other hand i don't know what the hype is all about. I really didn't see much in him during the ADT challenge, and wouldn't be surprised if he tanks it at the WJC. The fact that I read about his selfish attitude doesn't help the cause neither. Shirokov I thought was an excellent player.. really impressed me, but attitude is a problem with him as well I believe. He rubbed it in to the opposing team and the fans after scoring goals, and I really don't like that.
