Nash by the smallest of margins. If all of Gaborik’s 2009-2010 season was in this decade, maybe it’s him. Love Cally and Zucc, but can’t see arguments for them here.

Went Callahan for a combination of tenure, tenacity, important goals scored and excellence as captain and team leader. I could see Nash or Zuccarello instead. Gaborik was not around and excelling long enough, and St. Louis is a ridiculous option to provide based almost exclusively on one memorable playoff run.

I wonder if we aren't having a bit of an "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" effect in these first few polls. This isn't a critique, more of an observation.

Tough poll.

Gaborik and Nash were both more explosive than Zucc, but neither player was as consistent. Not sure who the hell to pick to be quite honest.

Edit: Went with Zucc because I appreciate consistency over peaks.

Gaborik was a legit offensive star for us when we had no skill on our team and he was great for a couple years. No one has reached 80 points on this team since him (Panarin should this year). I went with him.

I'm voting for guys based on their total contributions throughout the decade, and I feel like most other people are not doing that. Which is fine, but it makes me feel like my votes will be mostly meaningless.

I think people are weighing both, and just assign different weights to different factors.

Like I don't see Yandle beating out Skjei, for example.

Gaborik may have been better at his peak but that wasn't in this decade. Nash should be the answer.

Zucc>>>>>>>>>Nash

Not even remotely close.

I'm trying to put together the best team possible, based on how players performed while here. Like - this answer would pretty easily be MSL if we were just putting together the best prime aged players who happened to play for the Rangers.

I think Nash was better than Gaborik, so I voted him. It's pretty close. You can't really go wrong with either choice. I don't understand how Zucc is so close to Nash. My guess is because people love Zucc and many held a deep disdain for Nash.

Went with Zucc because I have a massive bias, but also because the consistency was far better than both Nash and Gaborik

....*Please vote before reading the comments, as these can bias your perspective.

I’m sorry but you can’t say this. I actually want to know pro’s and con’s BEFORE I make a vote. More often than not it reconfirms my choice but sometimes I get to read considerations to change my mind. And I’d rather change my mind before I vote than regret my original selection afterwards.

Gaborik.

When we will vote LW would it be possible to Nash. He played both wings and I hope both he and Zuke are included in top-6.

Zucc's output in his full seasons was 59, 49, 61, 59, and 53 points. He was a really productive player. 37 in 46 when we traded him.

Nash went for 42 in 44, 39, 69, 36, 38, and 28 in 60. Outside of two years, the production just wasn't there with him during his tenure here. He was always injured. I appreciate that he played hard and was great defensively, but again, he just wasn't that good. Particularly the second half of his tenure.

I don't hate Nash, never have. I just think that on top of actually being more productive, Zuccarello was more consistent and generally more impactful.

I went Gabby because he could bury pucks... Zucc was close tho

Nash wasn't even on my radar... guy didn't do .0005% of what he was brought here to do OR, more importantly what was needed of him. #snakebitten

failing to meet high expectations isn’t really a fair way to judge. I mean it’s completely normal and everyone does it but not really fair. By that standard zuke is the runaway winner since the expectations when he arrived were zero
