Up front will be fine - lots of high end talent and some nice skill in the bottom 6 as well - Would like to see McKenna here and not sure why nobody has Squires on this list. He was the first Q guy I had down. Stock is only rising on him

Celebrini? Fantilli was released to play U18s so I don’t see why he wouldn’t be

Peddle will start the 2nd round with Drummondville on Friday. Even if it’s a short series it would end on the 19th and the tournament starts on the 20th. It’s unlikely he’ll be there.

Mann is too old.

A little thin down the middle. I suspect they leave a spot open for Heidt or Yager should they get knocked out of the second round early.

Notes:

-Macklin Celebrini & Jayden Perron are the real wild cards here. Does Chicago release them for the tournament as they did with Fantilli last year?

- At forward, I could see them taking less of those bubble 05's and more of the 06's, forming an all '06 fourth line.

- Defense is the strength of this team. If Moncton loses tonight, Etienne Morin will be available too and he'd be in that group for sure.

- I would imagine that they refrain from naming a 13th forward to start to leave a spot open in case someone gets swept in the second round of the CHL playoffs.

- The other goaltender spot is also a huge wildcard. It will be Bjarnason and D'Aigle. But D'Aigle may likely be the third.

Lardis will be fun to watch at this level. Really had a solid season and playoff for the bulldogs.

Would like to see big Cole Brown get on this team. He really turned it up the second half of the season.

A kid that I think could help your team (I know it's a tough lineup to crack) is Andrew Basha out of Medicine Hat. Seen a few games this year when they played Regina and he really jumped off the page at me. He's a really skilled player that can shoot the puck.

I'd like to see Alex Assadourian from Niagara get a chance. This kid had 33pts in 34 gms in the 2nd half of the season after being traded to an aweful Niagara team that barely scores goals. Loved seeing this kid compete.
