Most players seem pretty excited to finally have the opportunity to play for their Country and get a leg up on making the Olympic Team.
I can see the US wanting to show they are no longer 2nd fiddle, while Canada will want to remain top dog.

The Isles management hated that though, and that was the reason why we haven't seen best on best Olympic hockey in more than ten years because IOC just flat out refused to take on any insurance costs.

If I'm being honest glad Tanev and Tavares didn't make it. Especially Tanev, the way he plays some rest is better. He deserves it though.
