I really hope the draft doesn’t break like this. Caufield to the Flyers and Seider going at #19 is an awful scenario. If the Rangers ended up with Hughes I think I’d want one of the kids from the Q in this spot but you probably have to go York here. Just need an F and an L to go with him.
if the top 7 breaks that way, who are they taking though? 3 of the next 4 taken in this mock are going ncaa route and the other is a russian that wont come over for at least 2 years. There’s no way the Oilers draft an American college player.

You are assuming their board looks the same as yours.if the top 7 breaks that way, who are they taking though? 3 of the next 4 taken in this mock are going ncaa route and the other is a russian that wont come over for at least 2 years.
no im not. i stated that if the top 7 breaks like it does, than who are they taking>? if you eliminate ncaa bound players and podkolzin, than they are severely limiting the pool of players to choose from. the swedish Dmen are usually projected in that range, although 8 would be the very upper range of where they have been projected. You are assuming their board looks the same as yours.
Basically you made my point. Did the mocks have Hayton at 5? Thomas Hickey at 4? For that matter, Kravtsov at 9? What matters is their list, not the mocks. If they get into what they see as an untenable situation, they may choose to trade down 1-2 spots.no im not. i stated that if the top 7 breaks like it does, than who are they taking>? if you eliminate ncaa bound players and podkolzin, than they are severely limiting the pool of players to choose from. the swedish Dmen are usually projected in that range, although 8 would be the very upper range of where they have been projected.
The combine will change a lot once you get past the first tier.
how did i make your point? all i did was ask who they could take, since you eliminated highly rated players who in this specific situation (hfb mock) would be available when edmonton picks. the oiler fan base at the very least disagree with you, in that they wouldnt take an NCAA bound player.Basically you made my point. He’s a LD. We have so many.Would take York here despite my love for Poulin and Tomasino
