Yeah we definitely should have given Raddysh this...I swear some people.
It's because he's a good guy I feel bad for him going to Toronto. Those fans and media are awful, and he's going to probably become an easy target for their angst. It does suck though that he went to my arch f’ing nemesis.
Good guy, bad team.
Yes, it’s practically inevitable. It's because he's a good guy I feel bad for him going to Toronto. Those fans and media are awful, and he's going to probably become an easy target for their angst.
I suspect he'll be out of the league at age 35 or 36. The way he skates, I'm highly skeptical he makes it to the end of that deal still playing hockey in the NHL.Because we know the contract is not a good idea too long and too much money.
He only had one break out year that was really good.
I mean last summer if we went to him with an extension offer what would that be ?
3.5 AAV to 5 AAV per year probably.
That possible for sure but he at least got a big bag from TorontoI suspect he'll be out of the league at age 35 or 36. The way he skates, I'm highly skeptical he makes it to the end of that deal still playing hockey in the NHL.
Guaranteed contracts are a beautiful thing for the players, though.
I’m sure most teams rely a lot on analytics nowadays. But he definitely still has an old school approach to players, which isn’t ALWAYS a negative.JBB is one of the most numbers driven GM in the league, to a fault he's relied significantly on analytics. If Raddysh had the impact you guys think he did he'd have re-signed him at whatever cost or move pieces to do so. It’s why Stamkos wasnt re-signed, his numbers were abysmal despite good point production and what happened after? We exploded 5v5 since his departure.
I'm over it. Raddysh can go off and be the biggest stud or bum on earth with the Leafs. But if JBB hung the whole season on Hedman returning to form and he doesn't. And we look terrible?
