Listen everybody knows if the other team gets an odd man rush, a breakaway, or if someone is standing with 18ft of the crease, your goalie simply has to surrender the goal. It's tough luck. I gotta bring those feel good vibes in here.

The team is on the downswing because their core got old. Happened to the Wings, happened to the Sharks, and it's happening to us. We are at the "just be happy when they win, don't bother feeling bad if they don't" phase.

Which is pretty much what I’m saying too. The coaching staff needing their toys taken away is a common problem. But hoping that we’re too far out of contention early so the front office doesn’t make stupid moves is a far different and IMO worse problem.
