Worth considering but with Callahan coming back I don't see it happening. Rangers seem to be happy enough with JT now--Konopka would give us 14 forwards. He'd probably be sitting more than playing.

Konopka does literally nothing but take faceoffs. Which might actually be a step up for most of this roster.

Pittsburgh has a lot of injuries. Claiming Pyatt makes sense for them. They are a top team in the East and Pyatt will add veteran experience.
I'd look into Konopka. Rangers could use that grit and F/O ability.

Pyatt was a total abomination this season apart from 2 games maybe. He was just plain lazy and played with no fire at all. He was hideous to watch.

Actually, the Rangers are idiots.
Pens are in a much better position to acquire middling forwards when theres 2 generational centers on the roster.

But he doesn't suck. He's just there. Pyatt is neither bad nor good. He's the most nondescript player in the NHL. This team needs to purge some identity-less players, though. It needs some form of emotion.

As a fighter I would take Dorsett over Konopka any time. Konopka is a very overrated fighter.
