If our goalie is not the best player on the team most nights, games are going to be tough.

Morrissey is not playing up to snuff this season and I don't care what anyone says. He misses Trouba big time.
Our 3rd pairing D men were owned ALL game last game and aren't NHL caliber D men.
We have a 3rd pairing D man playing on the top pairing.
We don't have an adequate LHD to play on the 2nd pairing with Pionk unless we pull JMo off of the 1st pairing!
Sbisa/Poolman would be an okay 3rd pairing but still...


I'd like to see...

Samberg/Heinola - Pionk
Heinola/Samberg - Poolman/Niku

This will allow the team to have Niku or Poolman as the 7th D.

I was surprised to see the Habs PK standing still then we scored.

Wasnt surprised to see our PK standing still and then they scored.

Team started well but awful goaltending and some mistakes put them behind the 8 ball and then it looked like the team checked out.

I just hate singling out any one player in a ****ty game like that.

It is so easy to point the finger at the refs, coach, goalie. Especially the goalie.

I thought the sequence where he jumped over a puck was a sign of things to come. Brossoit has a habit of putting himself in bad position and this game was worse than usual. Sometimes he can recover but other times not. He’s been an ok backup, but he needs to simplify some things.

To me he sometimes just seems like he's lost his concentration , he looks like he's fallen asleep , or giving up . Not easy being a back up for sure but he has to be better than he's been so far this season or Helly is gonna play too many games .
