Only theory that makes sense is they decided to have their Christmas party Sunday night and everyone was hungover last night. Coaching to goaltending and all things in-between, we sucked violently.

Brossoit was worse than bad, but fact is we lose that game even with 0.930 Helle.

I am going with the loser excuse that Maurice had teed up - Christmas Hockey.

The more realistic alternative, that our record is regressing to where it should be based on actual analytics, is too depressing to contemplate.

I think being on the road at this time of year has real advantages

His trajectory is eerily similar to Hutch with us. All world .940 in season one until the half way mark and then about a .900 goalie since. Unless he can right the ship in the second half of this season we will need to move on next year.

But I will give avgard credit, his crawl wasn't specifically aimed at a twitter-level attention span, unlike the recent SW movie (I enjoyed the movie, but the crawl was nothing more than a juvenile afterthought).

The trick is to not try to make sense of his posts. Just relax and let them soak in. Imagine yourself lying on a sunny beach as avgard's waves of consciousness gently wash over you.
