He's rounding out his game, he is developing well, he reminds me a lot of Kaberle, especially with his cross ice passes and him holding the puck on the PP. Still a bit of a project though.

Liligren won't see NHL time this year, barring a lot of injuries where he gets a game or two.
The year after, especially since we'll need more ELCs in our lineup.

I cracked open the door to the Islanders John Tavares watch thread and singed every hair on my body. Enter with caution, there's some caustic, very personal posts happening in there.

They're saying JT led them on. I'm pretty sure it was NYI, TOR, and probably the Sharks until the end.

Tavares + Marner and Matthews + Nylander are both top ten duos in the league i'd say

Two number 1 centers on any team with two of the best young ELC right wingers on one team in the league.

Then we have that third line center that only scores 30+ goals a year the last couple years and shuts down top lines. )

Its really coming together like none of is fans could have speculated even remotely serious.

It will only take a little more solidified defensive team play to possibly win a cup here.

Guaranteed that management has already blankly looked at each other after JT accepted their proposal.

This is history inbthe making type feeling for me.

Offense is stacked!!! Onwards building a top defense that is structured properly under the cap.

Then we ser what good fortune it might bring.

Tavares was distinguished enough for being our Captain before he even gave up all the extra moneyvhe could have taken elsewhere.

he had a good year, hes not a num 1 center, def not a franchise center. i feel bad for him because hes gonna have a lot heaped on him. i wouldnt move nylander or marner for him

After watching Nylander dominate with a play making center like Backstrom at the worlds, I'm with the Tavares-Nylander pairing.

Matthews had first dibs on Marner anyways.
