So, we kind of HAVE to address the right side of our D yeah? That's our only weakness left and it'd be a damn shame going into next season not taking advantage of the cheap contracts of Matthews and Marner.

Also hopefully Nylander re-signs ASAP.

Wow, that's huge!! Loyalty. Gotta appreciate that, hope it get's reported broadly. Not only is the 11m contract great for us, but it also helps cap our RFA payouts. Similar to the impact Stamkos had going back to the Lightning. So, pumped! Can't wait to see this team play!

Huge news! Legitimately one of the top 2-3 UFA signings of the Cap Era. And while 11M is a big caphit, he still left money on the table to come here.

So now what happens?
They still need help on defence........and probably on left wing..
So..are Johnsson and grundstrom both left wings and will they play on the top 2 lines?
And where does Kapanen go?
For me, Hyman and an aging Marleau may be Babcock's choices and are fine defensively, but I don't like either of them in those roles..
 
Thought you guys would love this. This was our depth chart from the 2015-16 season. I say we've upgraded ;).
