Best ever!!More good news. This off-season is the ****.
It truly is amazing how players from other countries could ever make it here. Who would have thought?OK, but will it be good enough to understand his coaches and teammates?
Yeah it's amazing that the 28% of players from outside North America can function. Astonishing, honestly. It truly is amazing how players from other countries could ever make it here. Who would have thought?
The provincial attitudes expressed by us North Americans is pathetic & embarrassing frankly. It truly is amazing how players from other countries could ever make it here. Who would have thought?

I went during the Olympics for work. I’m not gonna lie I saw some pretty awful shit. Luckily my hotel was brand new and right next to the boxing venu which was very close to Athlete Village... very high security. When I went to opening ceremonies... that was the worst. Places I saw on the drive... trying to get on a bus after was SCARY. Like people trampling people... almost rioting... trying to stop busses my jumping in front of them... AND THAT WAS MEDIA! It was insane.Glad you're safe bud. My friend is getting married in SP July 4th and he's worried about people traveling to the wedding from Rio, because of the current climate down there. I saw some scary homemade vids shook me up a bit. I still wish I could go, but work just won't die.

Hope ur friends wedding goes smoothly... it’s a great place and tons of fun... just tell them to stay away from the favelas and places they shouldn’t go (dark alleys, bad neighborhoods, etc... aka city life common sense). That's wild man. What an experience ! Glad you made it out!
For the love of God, use the ignore function.
Zibanejad speaks Finnish, you're making this a bigger deal than it needs to beI find it funny how soon people forget Buchnevich's struggles with English language and 2 coaches who benched him a lot more than they should have had there been less of communication issue between the 2 parties.

I think you mean Swedish.
He speaks both. His mother is from Finland.

He also speaks Farsi
I didn’t want to make WNGAGC’s head explode.
I can't speak towards Russian culture and their educational system because I'm not very familiar (speaking about Buchnevich), but any time I have spent in Europe, I've found a majority of individuals speak conversational English and many speak very fluently. I know in many countries it is taught to students at an early age, and speaking many languages is a point of emphasis in general--also owing to more exposure to foreign cultures and languages given the closer proximity.
Had WNGAGC never wondered why we have such an abundance of posters here from European countries that speak almost perfect English? Or why so many Swedes and Finns come to the NHL and immediately speak more clearly in interviews than Pierre?
Kakko will be completely fine. Stupid that we've had to devote so many keystrokes to this.
