McLeod looks like a different player now that he has some confidence. Think he's well suited as a winger as well.
I was just thinking how he's playing with Drai the way Mcdavid does. Drai is throwing passes out that nobody expects, and Mcleod is right in position to grab it.

Mcleod looks to be slowing up to dump and change, only to make a sneaky little pass to a wound up Drai. It definitely seems like he can focus more on being an offensive threat and meshing with his linemates without the responsibility of being a C.

Problem with playing a team like this, is so many guys on the other side are playing to keep their spot on the roster.

Gets chippy even at 5-0

Utter domination. The team looks very solid.

It's also a good night to give Desharnais and Kulak alot of the "extra" minutes, imo. I've liked Desharnais tonight.

It's too bad that he didn't stick as a 3C because that's a much more important position especially for this team than 2nd line wing but as long as he finds a niche somewhere, it's a good thing because talent like that should not be wasted.

This begs the question though, what do they do for #3C because they're not going far in the playoffs if they make the playoffs without one. I think they have to try Holloway there when he returns, that's a big boon to the lineup if he can handle #3C duties.

In fairness it's not like the standard consequence would be effective even if calls were 100% objective and equal. Usually you follow the rules because you are trying to win and don't want to put your team down a man. For the Sharks, like they give a crap about that, and the refs want to manage the score too
