I.E.
It looked like Jeannot tucked his shoulder around Boeser avoiding a shoulder on shoulder just so he could accidentally tag him in the head. I think it was trying to come across as accidentally on purpose but just looked slimey.

I mean I WISH he was as mustache-twirlingly evil as people in this thread make him out to be, a menacing mastermind premeditating how to make dirty hits on good players look clean, a guy with a rap sheet as long as the dead sea scrolls, because lord knows the Kings could use some ACTUAL toughness that can play

but no, he's just a f***ing stupid plug and can't keep up with the play, there's nothing this big brain about it, he's a bad player who took a bad line and finally got the opportunity to catch up to anyone to throw a hit at

That one I definitely agree with you on, but that's an outlier/history. The game has changed a lot since and we really don't see anything like that these days, and people still use the terms when someone receives more 'typical' hits that go awry, like in this case.

I can't imagine people actually think TJ was 'trying' to hit BB in the head?
Agreed.

The odd dirty play / dirty player gets so magnified now. For better and worse.

He got more head than body. Primary point of contact was head with the body in the follow through
Believe I said that he "still got a lot of body", which he did. This wasn't one of those blindside specials where it is entirely shoulder to jaw. If it wasn't clear, I was not arguing against a suspension.
He concussed Zub earlier in the season.

Jeannot needs to stop playing like a POS.
The hit on Zub is one of the best hits you'll see all season. He was on the trolley tracks staring down at the puck and got run over. Glided in to the hit and everything. That one is 100% on Zub. Jeannot was probably surprised he never saw him since he skated straight at him.

No, contact with the head does not make a hit illegal. Considering that most of the force of the hit went through Boeser’s body, the head was not the main point of contact. Maybe I am Einstein considering I appear to be the only one who read a rule book around here.

Not sure what you were going for here, but you missed.
3 games buddy give your head a shake you were and are wrong.

I need to contact Garry/ NHLPA about suspensions. He needs to be suspended three games against Canucks not other teams. Why they can't figure it out? I wanted to make thread long time ago about it but my English is not good enough for that..

this was pretty much my take at the time watching the game.
