This suspension is for all the brilliant minds on here who didnt think it was a dirty hit
It looked like Jeannot tucked his shoulder around Boeser avoiding a shoulder on shoulder just so he could accidentally tag him in the head. I think it was trying to come across as accidentally on purpose but just looked slimey.
Good lord. Sober up and watch again3 games for being too tall is how I see this.
Agreed. That one I definitely agree with you on, but that's an outlier/history. The game has changed a lot since and we really don't see anything like that these days, and people still use the terms when someone receives more 'typical' hits that go awry, like in this case.
I can't imagine people actually think TJ was 'trying' to hit BB in the head?
Believe I said that he "still got a lot of body", which he did. This wasn't one of those blindside specials where it is entirely shoulder to jaw. If it wasn't clear, I was not arguing against a suspension. He got more head than body. Primary point of contact was head with the body in the follow through
The hit on Zub is one of the best hits you'll see all season. He was on the trolley tracks staring down at the puck and got run over. Glided in to the hit and everything. That one is 100% on Zub. Jeannot was probably surprised he never saw him since he skated straight at him.He concussed Zub earlier in the season.
Jeannot needs to stop playing like a POS.
I don't want to sift through 10 pages but do people actually think this hit was clean? This suspension is for all the brilliant minds on here who didnt think it was a dirty hit
Lmfaooo finally a good joke on HFIf he exploded, I'd say a suspension would be redundant anyway.
3 games buddy give your head a shake you were and are wrong.View attachment 927969
No, contact with the head does not make a hit illegal. Considering that most of the force of the hit went through Boeser’s body, the head was not the main point of contact. Maybe I am Einstein considering I appear to be the only one who read a rule book around here.
Not sure what you were going for here, but you missed.
Very few. The overwhelming majority watched the clip with their eyes openI don't want to sift through 10 pages but do people actually think this hit was clean?
Yeah DoPS is definitely always right3 games buddy give your head a shake you were and are wrong.
In this case they were 100%.Yeah DoPS is definitely always right
Watch the video they put out, they go through the rule line by line and show how it applies. You seem to still be confused by it and I think it could be educational for you.Yeah DoPS is definitely always right
Thats my guess tooProbably get 3 games
Yeah DoPS is definitely always right
In this case they were 100%.
Blind side hit to head
Defenseless player without puck
Wreckless
Pretty much an easy layup...take the loss .
you were wrong...it happens
this was pretty much my take at the time watching the game.I mean I WISH he was as mustache-twirlingly evil as people in this thread make him out to be, a menacing mastermind premeditating how to make dirty hits on good players look clean, a guy with a rap sheet as long as the dead sea scrolls, because lord knows the Kings could use some ACTUAL toughness that can play
but no, he's just a f***ing stupid plug and can't keep up with the play, there's nothing this big brain about it, he's a bad player who took a bad line and finally got the opportunity to catch up to anyone to throw a hit at
It’s not just the league though, the NHLPA through the CBA have a huge say on how the structure works for giving out suspensions.3 games is a bit soft as usual by Parros. The concussion lawsuits will one day cite these non 5-10 game suspensions as non concern for player safety.
