Man…the Boston GDT is a trip lmao. This is my favorite one so far:

“They are coming off a draining game with travel and no rest against a team that is told to throw cheapshots. It is a game that means nothing, and that requires tons of internal motivation.”
Alright, which one of you flatfoots told the Blues players to throw cheapshots?? :skeptic:

Brown is sooooooo useless.

He is at OMG uselessness level.
I'm not going to go check, but I really hope no one here ever said that Brown was / could be a top-6 forward.

Cause ... he wasn't, couldn't be, and never will be, unless he's maybe playing in a U14 pick-up league somewhere.

LOL

Certainly wasn't me.

You're welcome to check.

i don't mind pitlick as much. he skate hard and hits. he may have no talent but he at least can do decent impersonation of 4th liner. the other 2 have no role on a real nhl team.
I agree that Pitlick has some value as a physical forward. But all three in the same game?

backchecking on that bruins goal is the story of the season.

same

Having Leivo, Brown and Pitlick in the same game is awful. It's bad hockey.
remember when Leivo was on 2nd line with ROR and getting PP time as well?

I remember saying how worthless he was and numerous people here said he was not as bad as I was saying. that guy has the worst shot i've ever seen on a NHL player.

this season is 100% on doug armstrong for making our forward strength (depth) our weakness with terrible dumpster dive signings like Leivo. the only good thing to come out of this turd season thus far is knowing Mikkola will never play for us again.

Yes, that was me saying that they should try and get Levio to fill the role that Perron had, but it didn't work out. Leivo and Kyrou were the two closest fits in those situations, but neither were/are any good there with those linemates.

I'll fess up.. I said his 'ceiling' is a 2c, but if he ever hits, it'd be as a 3c. he's not an effective 4th liner so no reason to even put him out there.
at times, he flashes the talent that could be an NHL'er, but WAY too inconsistent and invisble.
I'm sure Army would love for him to work out as he fits the age of the 'new core', but at this point he's looking more like a whiff than anything
welcome to the SHL kid

actually, ROR became much more effective with Leivo on his line
Kyrou, on the other hand, is more times than not a liability and drags his linemates down

I am definitely not calling you out with my remark.

kessel has looked pretty good so far. keeping it simple. would be super helpful if he pans out, as he is literally our ONLY RHD prospect.
To be fair, how often does someone play their first game and through 20 minutes look like complete crap?

You're right about him being our only RHD prospect, though. We are woefully thin on prospect depth on defense, and none of them have particularly high ceilings. Getting any of them to pan out would be super helpful, but ultimately doesn't solve the longer-term top-4 dilemma we have.

Yes, ROR and Leivo worked out early on and only sporadically, but Leivo was MosDef the right fit in those situations.

But he is such a massive downgrade from Perron that it simply did not work long-term.

When it comes to Blues vs. Bruins in the Stanley Cup Finals, they can always think of Orr flying through the air.

We'll always think of this:
