But I can't understand why they give up the puck so much without being pressured, just flipping it past defenders to places where no teammate can retrieve it, when they'd be better off to wait until a teammate is open or comes into the area, and it is clear that they weren't desperate for a line change. That is the mark of a weak team, that can't even compete.
