This is getting real. And I must say I’m getting a little excited. Very deep draft and the top end is fantastic.
Agreed with the caveat that if Wright or Byfield truly are on the table then you have to get one in the Horvat deal.Amazing draft even into the 2nd and 3rd round... which is why I'm concerned it doesn't sound like the Canucks care about extra picks in the slightest.
Horvat, Kuzmenko and Schenn should all be moved. If they net you 2 more firsts and a second round pick a great place to start a rebuild is with 5 picks in the top two rounds in the deepest draft in over a decade...

Hold your horses: the Canucks might go on a 3 game win-streak, get within 11 points of the playoffs, and then all bets are off. A Horvat trade might have to be shelved in a desperate attempt to make the playoffs.
As my three year old son told me once many years ago, “I don’t want to hold my horses. I want to hold my pigs.” About as random as hope for the playoffs…Hold your horses: the Canucks might go on a 3 game win-streak, get within 11 points of the playoffs, and then all bets are off. So basically they are 4 point games...Just to hammer this home a bit.
14 of their remaning games are against teams that are 23rd or lower in the standings.
3 against Chicago, 3 Anaheim
2 against Arizona & Detroit
1 against Columbus, Ottawa, SJ & Philly each.
Agreed. Stillman also needs at least 25 minutes a night to know what we have with him...Trade Horvat, Boeser, Garland, Schenn and sit Demko an extra month to make sure he's "healthy". Play OEL and Myers in every situation possible and we have a chance of getting a top 3 pick.![]()
WE ARE ALL CLAYTON KELLERCome on Yotes! You owe us.
Neat. You can do this for every team in the bottom 10 . They all face these teams 9-14 times. The Canucks are one of these teams. No games will be easy especially with Horvat/Schenn gone. The team is headed towards a top 7 pick. They can go .500 the rest of the way and will still pick top 10.
In the olden days this was called being a really bad team with no plan. This team is blessed but managerial incompetence, another accidental tank FTW
