This was a bump from the Bo trade and still from Tocchet. I'm confident we'll worsen our place in the standings before the deadline. Look at who we're playing (NYR, NYI, DETx2, NYR, PHI, NSH, STL, BOS, DAL, MIN, TOR, NSH). We could easily loose 10 of 12. What we need to de is sell sell sell because the next 10 are ANA, OTT, DAL, ARI, LAK, ANA, VGK, SJS, DAL, CHI. We'll need an even worse roster if we're going to have a chance at losing most of these.

Problem with 'the tank' is that unlike some of the other NHL bottom-feeders, this Canuck team has badly underachieved this season. Everybody knows they should have been a lot better.

So sadly they're fully capable of going on a meaningless late season win streak and falling down the draft board. It's just 'the Canuck way'.
