Love to have the Tasmanian devil back in the fold!

Me watching Chevy trade 2nds for 4th liners and bottom pairing defensemen:![]()
Why? He has Speed, is tough, good on PK. Nice add imo.Not good value for a 2nd in my books
Helps the PK , energy player .fuuuck this trade...why why why would you even bother.
175 pointas in 533 games.. 33 years old.. with a history of injury issues.......played one full season out of the last five...if he's higher on the roster than the PB / we're in deep trouble,Helps the PK , energy player .
IMHO Tanev is older slower less talented Baron with worse hockey sense.. if he sees the ice it better be as injury fill in.I don't mind this and I'm sure the room will be happy to have him back. I'd guess he takes Barron's spot unless he moves to center the fourth line.
if he plays tonight likely on the 4th line per arnielAnother depth add and injury insurance. Be interesting where and if he slots in when he gets here.
I am fine with this deal. A 2nd at the best of times is a crap shoot. Let alone one three drafts from now.
It is a 2027 2nd, so best case scenario that pick becomes a player around 2031 or 2032. By then all of Scheifele, Helly, Ehlers, Connor and Morrissey etc will be retired, moved on or in the fading twilight of their careers. There will be a lot of selling by that point to make that pick pretty much irrelevant in the long term.I like Tanev but I think the price was too high. Not sure now he really improves the team significantly, to give up a 2nd. Oh well.
i still don't see where Tanev fits or what he gives us... so the cost is quite large. It is a 2027 2nd, so best case scenario that pick becomes a player around 2031 or 2032. I guess we will have to wait and see, but I think he easily pushes a few bottom 6 players down the lineup. If I had to guess he replaces Apples on the 3rd.i still don't see where Tanev fits or what he gives us... so the cost is quite large.
if he pushes Barron out of the lineup IMHO that's us getting worse. so again we spent capital for zero return.
if he rides the pine in the press box waiting for injury ... we probably could have gotten equal value off the waivers or even an AJF callup from the moose.
He gets injured because he puts his body on the line every shift.175 pointas in 533 games.. 33 years old.. with a history of injury issues.......played one full season out of the last five...if he's higher on the roster than the PB / we're in deep trouble,
