Just going into this game hoping the Leafs play a full 60.

Tampa has been on a heater. Leafs should be ready to go.

I expect a high scoring game where they get trading chances.

A win basically locks up 3rd in the division at worst.

Go Leafs Go

Edmondson currently out with injury.

You're missing Lyubushkin. I slot him before Brodie. Neither is ideal but Boosh will at least be physical and provide much needed push back when things get chippy.
Boosh can't move the puck, he also doesn't defend well. He hits, but most of his hits he goes out of the way for which leads to odd man rushes

He defends just fine. He's there for net front clearing and snot. Brodie is about as ineffective as you claim Boosh is.

He knows his job and puck moving isn't it lol.

Edmonson and Lilligren are both out with injuries.
My bad, this wasn't meant for tonight, but for game 1 of playoffs

That's an opinion we won't agree on

Just arrived. Glad Rielly is back. GLG

Rielly-McCabe
Edmondson-Liljegren
Beniot-Brodie

I believe this to be the leafs 6 best d, slotted into the best pairings.
Like to see Rielly and McCabe get more games together. They looked good in limited action. Keefe seems hell bent on a McCabe and Brodie shutdown pairing even though they don't work together sigh.

I don't think the brodie McCabe pairing is going to happen. I think he's been running that the last few games simply because of the injuries.

The pairings have been really jumbled, brodie lyubushkin bad idea, Benoit lyubushkin bad idea, timmins with anyone rn bad idea. It's been pretty limited

They’ll pair Mo with Brodie so the number one unit will be completely incompetent on the defensive side of things……….

Unfortunately I feel the number 1 unit will be incompetent defensively no matter who is there. That's why I think they should roll the dice with Mo and McCabe and give free reign to both. Just try to overwhelm the other team. Both can pass and skate their way out of the zone if it comes to that.

Duclair - Point - Kucherov
Stamkos - Cirelli - Hagel
Eyssimont - Paul - Chaffee
Jeannot - Glendening - Motte
Sheary - Watson

Hedman - Raddysh
Fleury - Cernak
Lilleberg - Dumba
de Haan - Perbix

Andrei Vasilevskiy is expected to get the start in net.
that bottom six and 3/6 defencemen are pretty awful

I think Jarnkrok and Liljegren would instantly be their 2nd best bottom six forward (Paul being better) and like 3rd best defencemen behind Hedman and Cernak. I get they are missing Sergachev, but man kucherov is doing something special over there...

That idea doesn’t bode well for getting playoff ready where the defensive side if things usually tightens up, the Leafs play the game too much like a pond hockey style as it is, but whatever, they believe run and gun will get them to the promised land, but it won’t………

Hopefully we get playoff Rielly tonight. GLG!
Lets hope last year’s playoffs weren’t a fluke in regards to Rielly………
