Tonight's game is a nice reminder that Woll's path to a starting job is going to be bumpier and longer than people were expecting when he was penciled in as the playoff starter, then injured. He just needs a lot more development time in the NHL before you trust him with an important gig.

I mean he's 26 this summer. He's from the same draft as Matthews, there's really no more time left to develop him. He either is or isn't at this point.
