“I’m not concerned about 70 goals at all. I’m concerned about having him and our team ready to go for playoffs.” —Sheldon Keefe
Seems like you've been predicting the demise of the 103 pt Bruins for quite some time.I would expect Tampa to start Johansson in this one, so that should give the Leafs an advantage. To your point, if Boston plays Tampa in the first round, I think Boston will lose (mind you, I think they are going to lose in the first round no matter which team they play, so take that for what it's worth).
What? That’s keefe saying in a nice way. We do not give a f*** about 70 goals. The only thing the team is focused on is Matthews and the group being ready for the playoffs. Don’t know how that quote can be misinterpretedThis is huge news. Sheldon fired himself ?
Wow.
I don't think they are much of a threat to win anything in the playoffs. I actually think they should be a better team next season as they will have some money to spend this off-season and can make a meaningful upgrade at centre, as well as whatever assets they will get back in a deal for one of their goalies.Seems like you've been predicting the demise of the 103 pt Bruins for quite some time.

Was certainly a bizarre interpretation. What? That’s keefe saying in a nice way. We do not give a f*** about 70 goals. The only thing the team is focused on is Matthews and the group being ready for the playoffs. Don’t know how that quote can be misinterpreted

Agreed.I actually don't want home ice "advantage". It hasn't worked with this core and we suck at home during the playoffs (and all this year anyways).
You realize the quote from Keefe was about Matthews and the chase for 70?Keefe is a significant barrier to our playoff success.
It’s time to acknowledge his team consistently underperforms.
It was nice for Dubas to promote him, but it didn’t work out.
He can’t even ice the best lines in the post season.
No... Rielly is in.Interesting.... so I guess Marner and Rielly are out again tonight huh

I hope Keefe doesn't get out coached in tonight's game as he often does. Better?No... Rielly is in.
Completely out of context excuse to air a grievance 101.... it's a game thread, how about we talk about the game at hand, instead of Coaches and GM's living rent free in your head?
I look forward to watching hockey on the prime app and combining that with their fast free shipping. Sportsnet + is not great. I swear my audio always sounds delayed or mechanical and I feel like I'm losing it. It also looks like it's in 720p.REPORT: Rogers Communications Might Consider Selling TV Rights to Amazon
