Their D is already not near as good as before... they better take advantage of this. Especially if Hedman isn't in.

He's our leading scorer outside of the big 4. Don't be silly now.
If he's taken Cernak out of the series and the cost is a one game suspension....well that's a huge win for the leafs.

You bring him back into the lineup and you reward him. The 5 minute killed last night but sometimes you have to lose a battle to win a war.

No Hedman, Cernak, Cole, or Esiymont at practice today for Tampa.

If they don't play tomorrow that's half their, defense and even if they do their is no way in hell they are near 100%, I'm not sure what happened to Cole so maybe him but not the others.

You have to take advantage of that.

If Jeannot is playing leafs need to consider putting Simmonds in over ZAR.

Schenn can not be the only sherif in the line up.
They probably won't though. I know what you're saying but I don't really see Jeannot being this huge difference maker.

Leafs just need to play well. f*** Tampa.

Last night couldn't of gone much worse. They just need to f***ing play at their best and they'll kill this team.

Close but

Jarnkrok Matthews Nylander
Kerfoot O'Reilly Marner
Knies Tavares Lafferty
Aston-Reese Kampf Acciari

Is the answer. Plus the obvious Liljegren for Holl substitution.

Maybe Keefe is going for the 'wait til it's too late to get it right' strategy

Obviously exactly this is not necessary but I'm convinced the core structure of those lines is the most competitive.

This will probably be just like the time Kadri crosschecked that Bruins player on the face and the kid could see his dead granny and was talking gibberish in the post game interview but after the suspension was announced he was just fine the next game.

I have to remind myself that it’s just game of hockey, but Leafs still manage to ruin my mood for a day or two in playoffs.
I got over it quickly actually. Probably because the outcome was so obvious once the puck dropped and our boys put us on notice that they didn't G.A.F.

Of course come Thursday I will once again be pumped for an important playoff game.
I'm just that stupid.

Maybe Matthews will be able to finally have a big game?

It will be some left over veteran taking on that role and go full out Lidstrom on Matthews
Those who have big games, have big games

Sakic didn't care about Lidstorm. He took it to him and so did Crosby

Matthews is not that guy

Need to come out with more i obvntensityiously but we NEED to win board battles

They absolutely killed us on tht cycle in our zone and kept us to one and done in the first especially.

We basically let Perry dominate us in the cycle game. D has to be stronger on the puck behind our own net

It sucks anytime a player is injured, hope they have a speedy recovery. The impact of this will no doubt hurt the Bolts though - especially if Hedman is still out

If they have all those players out and we still lose we're done

Jeannot going to go full crazy tomorrow. Still love that kid
He's essentially Josh Anderson type of player.

He has had a bad year. But we forget Nylander scored 7 goals once in a year

Jeannot healthy could be a potential nightmare

Problem is, if we play defence or stick check we get called for a slash or cross-check. It's like players are afraid to play defence out of fear of getting a bullshit penalty called against.

Absolutely not. I hope they recover after the series is over though.

If the Leafs turn to Joseph Woll it would be dripping with irony.

Can you imagine after Dubas goes through his revolving door of failed goaltenders since being appointed GM of ..

Garret Sparks, Michael Hutchinson, Jack Campbell, Kasimir Kaskisuo, David Rittich, Petr Mrazek, Erik Kallgren, Matt Murray, Ilya Samsonov etc

That he then turns in desperation to Lou Lam's drafted goalie Joseph Woll, whom he took in round #3 after taking Matthews in round #1 to try and save the Leafs season and his own job?

Priceless !!!!
Which is the dripping with irony part?

Also, your last sentence is poorly constructed. It reads as if the person trying to save his job is Lou.

Tha
No excuses, our stars should be dominant tomorrow

I expect they will, though. This core usually does well after humiliating losses
Thats good to hear hopefully the Wideman prediction about getting what they deserve won't come true. Be nice to see them get out of the first round.

Agreed that I dont expect Jeannot being a factor on the score sheet but you're going to see guys like Rielly and Brodie be ran pretty hard if Cernak is indeed done for awhile. Jeannot will bring another physical element.

ZAR had an awful game. He may as well not have been dressed at all. I feel like we should slot simmer there. At least we'll get a little protection and possibly a few hits when we need them.

Whether he's fine or not, that was a headshot

Cernak is a heck of a player and not a pansy.

And 48 hours is enough time to recover from a lot of injuries. Not fully but you can
