Yup it's the coach's fault that Galchenyuk was the last man back on the PP with a player coming back and he tries to shoot through traffic.

He plays like a ****ing CHL player. It's been 5 years. He only has himself to blame.

The problem is that he hasnt always played like that. Its the worse weve ever seen him play.

Yeah when he scored 30 goals last year and was top 5 and scoring this year before an injury.

So long ago, like, did the internet even exist?

Scoring 30 goals when there's nothing to play for, doesn't mean much for me.

Not that I don't think he could score 30+ when it does matter.

But this game and his play the last dozen games has been putrid.

He looks like he's playing drunk

This narrative has to stop. For a while, we could blame the coaches, the gm, the other players, the media, the temperature, the quality of the ice........... but it's been a very long time now and Galchenyuk has to look himself in the mirror. He is the one who is ****ing himself up. Time to grow up and focus on playing hockey.
Yeah, we should ignore how we screwed the guy up. Okay...

Don't worry, he'll be traded this summer. I'm pretty sure of that. You'll get your wish.

He just got out of the penalty box, I believe. He raced into the play, but the play was ahead of him. He's made some glaring errors in recent games. I don't think that was one.

I'm talking about on the PP just now.

How do you explain Chucky's play at centre last season and the first 20 games this season?

And how long ago did we put him on the wing?

And... why did we put him on the wing?

Man Galchenyuk sucks so bad. I was thinking earlier about my previous comments regarding him thinking maybe I exaggerated a tad about him stick-handling directly into opposing players. In the first 10 minutes of the game he did it 3 freaking times, turning the puck over on at least two (might have been all three, don't remember for sure). What does he think the result will be when he does that? "I don't have the foot-speed to beat anyone outside, so I'll just stop moving my feet and crash right into the defenseman while deking like I'm on a penalty shot.'' Wtf...and some posters say his hockey IQ isn't an issue. He makes the same stupid mistake game after game. I hope he's traded this summer.

The atrocious PP and lack of offense will be the Habs downfall in the upcoming playoffs. Lack of skill doesn't help either.

There was no pressure?

Look, he's playing like crap...I don't understand why some are trying to blame others for it or make it seem like it's not his issue.

He looks awful...Plain and simple

I know our roster is resting and we don't have anything to play for left in the regular season, but god is this flashbacks of Therrien.

While Galchenyuk decides to shoot through traffic, you hear Price hitting his stick on the ice indicating the PP is over. Galchenyuk should hear this and make a smarter play at the blue line.

I agree that he's playing far from his best. People seem to dismiss the idea that he's still feeling the effects of his injury. He didn't forget how to play hockey.
