Amazon and Netflix will be fighting for the creme de le creme of streaming, live events. Sports being the natural fit and the one distinguishing benefit of cable TV.

It is only a matter of time before cable companies get government involved to reign in the power moves, or, expect internet prices to increase substantially. Canada is already some of the most expensive in the world, even worse are mobile rates.

The Leafs powerplay has always gotten by on raw talent than good tactics. It’s been a piss-off to watch for years now and every postseason it flatlines. Now that Tavares has clearly lost a step it’s even more evident how poor that four man forward unit works.

You want to “de-emphasize” the Core Four? f***ing split them up off the Powerplay. Jesus Christ.
